More Roads...

Reached till Queen Mary's college and will stop for now as the level looks really barren. I have asked sanjay to get the refrence images of santhome and buildings around it so that we can start the reference artworks for our pre-production jury and also get some artworks in the process because we didnt have any art work for our last jury.

Well today was one of those days when getting up feels like so bad and you just want to stay in bed. Well work was piling up and so had to get up and start. Well today things took a U-turn. Got up late had a feeling that something bad was going to happen and i dont know whether i will call it bad or something else because i feel kinda bad doing this. The game and dissertation is now cancelled. Yes its true, as a single person doing that game is kinda hitting myself so it has come to a conclusion that i will be doing a game with a fellow game designer and my only close friend in college Sandy Marcus AKA Sanjay.K. The game he is doing is a racing game that will happen in the city of Chennai. The cars and all the stuff in the game is supposed to make it look that the game is in India. If u ask me its a simple enough game we need 25+ car models, environments, people (maybe). If we start now within 2 months i think the game will have sufficient assents to keep the game liquidated. Well today was really good, got up at 9am and came to college at 10 with vivian and durga. Sandy came and we started to discuss more about the game. We decided for the demo we will be doing the Guindy road. The road has many iconic buildings and so a lot of modelling work is there. To get things started the hotel Le Royal Meredian is also there. Well finished the modelling on the first petrol pump. Well the render was wierd and the planes that was supposed to represent the bill boards didnt show up in the .obj i exported to Keyshot. Well today re-rendered the watch model that i did in 3ds max, i thought i lost that model when i formatted my system. Watch model done in 3ds max and rendered in keyshot, Inspired from Tag Heuer. The first petrol bunk for the game.
